Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a senior Avionics Test lead in Long Beach to own the design and implementation of automated test systems for Terran R electronics.

You will guide a team, coordinate with hardware and software groups, and help drive rapid, reliable testing in a production environment. The role requires 5+ years in electronics testing, a strong background in test system design, and experience with high voltage electronics.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in electrical, computer, aerospace eng or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with electronics hardware simulation, automation or test.
• Experience with ownership of complex test system design for motor drives, DC-DC converters, high voltage electronics.
• Experience with environmental and qualification testing (vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC).

Responsibilities

• Lead a portion of the Avionics Test team to own design and implementation of automated test systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to create manufacturing test assets.
• Coach engineers and foster collaboration and high performance.
