Job summary

AAA USA Inc in Columbus, MS is hiring an avionics technician to perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of electrical/electronic components and systems in aircraft, with function checks.

Requires at least six years of avionics experience on aircraft, preferably rotorcraft, plus ability to read blueprints and diagrams. English proficiency is required; a current A&P license is a plus. Relocation and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Six years of avionics experience on aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and diagrams and apply shop practices for repairs/modifications.
• Current A&P license is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead on schedules, priorities and parts availability.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals to meet specs and tolerances.
• Use standard and specialized tools and test equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements and company specs.
