Hillsboro Aviation, an FAA Part 145 repair station at KHIO, offers comprehensive maintenance and avionics services across jets, turboprops, rotor-wing and high-performance piston aircraft. Our factory-trained team averages over 20 years of experience and supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, upgrades, and AOG emergencies.
As a Senior Avionics Technician, you will report to the Avionics Manager and lead avionics projects while ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and timely
Qualifications
- 10+ years avionics experience in GA settings.
- Proficiency with FAR 91.411/91.413 checks and test equipment.
- Experience with complex avionics tasks and installations.
- Experience with major repairs & alterations.
- Clean FAA history and customer base relationship.
- Experience with Garmin avionics equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Avionics Manager in the Repair Station Manual (RSM) tasks.
- Maintain airworthiness and availability of assigned aircraft.
- Coordinate avionics logistics to minimize downtime.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and shop quality standards.
- Lead avionics projects for jets, turboprops, and helicopters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
