Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician III to perform maintenance, upgrades, and installations on aircraft avionics per Repair Station Manual procedures and OEM specs. The role may lead projects and other technicians during major inspections or troubleshooting events.

Certification in accordance with FAR Part 145.151 is required. The position is located in Van Nuys, CA, with a Tuesday–Friday 6am–4:30pm shift and offers a competitive hourly rate plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus and

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of military or corporate aircraft avionics experience.
• Airframe license required; maintain appropriate certification in accordance with FAR Part 145.151.
• Corporate aviation installation and troubleshooting experience, with a comprehensive understanding of avionics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft avionics and electrical system testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations.
• Conformance of work to industry standards, OEM data, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manuals.
• Lead specific projects and other avionics technicians during modifications, major inspections, or troubleshooting events.
