Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Technician III to maintain, upgrade, and install avionics systems on corporate aircraft in Van Nuys, CA. You will lead projects and mentor junior technicians while adhering to FAR Part 145.151 and company manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of military or corporate aircraft avionics experience.
• Airframe license required; maintain appropriate certification in accordance with FAR Part 145.151.
• Corporate aviation installation and troubleshooting experience with avionics and electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics; knowledge of FARs.

Responsibilities

• Perform avionics system testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations.
• Lead specific projects and other avionics technicians on modifications or inspections.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and use avionics test equipment.
• Maintain shop equipment and ensure clean, organized work areas.
• Provide guidance and training to Technician I and II personnel.
