Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks a Senior Aircraft Tech - Avionics for a contract assignment. You will work on avionics components, perform repairs, and conduct functional tests under FAA and company standards.

The role requires at least four years in aviation avionics, HS diploma, and willingness to travel <5%. This is a contractor position with potential extension, staffed by a third-party vendor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in aviation avionics systems installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection.
• High School Diploma required; some trade school preferred.
• FCC license preferred.
• Through-hole soldering certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on assigned units from component maintenance manuals.
• Ensure repairs and completed work are in accordance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company processes.
• Complete maintenance orders pertaining to completion of assigned work.
• Coordinate with Business Office for required parts request, supplies, and AOG priority of job assignments.
• Ensure maintenance data being used is of the latest revision level.
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.
• Test and Repair: Operate test equipment, diagnose faults, and replace components.
• Conduct Final Test per Component Maintenance Manual and ensure OSHA and safety compliance.
