Job summary

Airbus Helicopters in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Senior Aircraft Tech - Avionics on a contract basis. You will perform assembly, installation, repair and replacement of avionics units in accordance with FAA regulations and company processes.

Qualifications

• Four years' experience in aviation avionics installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection.
• Education: High School Diploma required; trade school preferred.
• FCC license recommended; through-hole soldering certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair or replace avionics units following maintenance manuals and FAA regulations.
• Test and diagnose faults using auto test equipment and bench test equipment; document findings.
• Conduct final test per maintenance manuals and ensure ESD safety and calibrated tooling.
