Job summary

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an experienced helicopter A&P mechanic to join our MAR team in Grand Prairie, TX. This temporary contract role involves performing inspections, assemblies, repairs, and verification tests on aircraft components and systems, with potential extension or adjustment by the vendor.

Applicants should have at least six years of aviation maintenance experience, with helicopter experience required, and hold an FAA A&P license or be able to qualify for a Repairman

Qualifications

• Six years of aviation maintenance experience, with helicopters experience required.
• FAA A&P license or ability to qualify for Repairman Certificate (requires 18 months on Airbus helicopters).
• Safran Turbomeca engine experience is preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections, assemblies, installations, repairs or replacements of helicopter components and systems.
• Conduct operational checks to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
• Troubleshoot to diagnose malfunctions on helicopter systems including engines, hydraulics, landing gear and flight controls.
• Interface with customer for delivery and assist with delivery inspection and any issues discovered.
