Rio Staffing LLC in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Avionics Technician to lead complex installations, system integrations, and high-level troubleshooting on GA piston and turboprop aircraft.

You will work with Garmin, Avidyne, Aspen, and Dynon panels, perform regulatory documentation for FAA compliance, and pursue the Chief Inspector track, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of dedicated avionics experience on GA piston and turboprop aircraft.
• Deep proficiency reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• FAA A&P license and/or NCATT AET certification preferred.
• Hands-on testing with pitot-static, altimeter, and transponder systems.
• Solid working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 91, and 145 regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex avionics installations and system integrations end-to-end.
• Perform high-level electrical troubleshooting on GA platforms.
• Prepare regulatory documentation for FAA compliance and inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with quality management to maintain repair station manuals and procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute toward Chief Inspector track.
