Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in system design, test planning, and validation.
• Proficiency in Python programming and debugging.
• Experience with power, DAQ, RTD/4-20mA devices, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes from concept to production.
• Develop electrical architecture, system diagrams, and budgets for power and telemetry.
• Analyze architecture for faults, craft mitigation plans, and support FDIR workarounds.
• Create verification plans for avionics systems on flight and HITL hardware.
• Participate in mission operations as avionics specialist and system operator.
• Oversee integration of Winnebago avionics and act as primary contact for investigations.
• Design and operate HITL testbeds to simulate spacecraft on the ground.
• Develop avionics ground infrastructure and support test racks and R&D equipment.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to foster continuous improvement.
