Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Melbourne, FL for the GLU-2100 Multi-Mode Receiver product line. You will drive system requirements, architecture, integration, and verification across disciplines, engaging with partners and customers worldwide.

You will mentor engineers, perform system modeling, and coordinate with hardware, software, and subsystems to ensure robust delivery of navigation and GPS technologies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Aerospace industry experience is required
• Working knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink simulation
• Experience with Python, Perl or other script writing tools
• System level requirements decomposition/analysis, design and verification
• Interfacing with system, subsystem, and product teams in requirements allocation and design decisions

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements and architecture for GLU-2100 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) product-line
• Lead system integration and system verification activities across phases
• Modeling and simulation; coordinate among systems, hardware, and software teams
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with domestic and international partners
