Intone Inc. seeks a Senior Avionics Systems/DevOps Engineer in Cedar Rapids, IA, on a three-year contract. You will lead systems engineering efforts, drive CI/CD adoption, and implement automation across cross-functional teams to improve lifecycle processes and certification readiness.

The role combines systems engineering with hands-on DevSecOps, emphasizing requirements management, verification, and toolchain integration in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple areas of the systems engineering lifecycle and technical documentation.
• Experience in civil certification programs and aerospace environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps and CI/CD toolchains is expected.
• Experience with Jama, Polarion or DOORS for requirements management.
• Ability to automate using Python, Bash, and PowerShell with thorough testing.
• Git or other version control experience and autonomous collaboration across teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead definition, development, and deployment of systems engineering solutions across the organization.
• Improve requirements management, system architecture, verification, validation, and certification processes.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines and toolchain integration.
• Develop and execute automation initiatives using scripting languages and modern practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders across time zones.
• Apply aerospace development standards throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage problem reports, change requests, and smaller project work packages.
• Support requirements management and documentation across the full lifecycle.
