Job summary

Credence is hiring a senior Avionics Hardware Engineering Support to aid the AFLCMC/WAM F-16 program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will contribute to system design, hardware/software integration, and testing of mission computers to meet airworthiness standards.

This role requires a current top-secret clearance and an ABET-accredited engineering degree, with extensive DoD experience preferred. You will collaborate with government teams to deliver upgrades through 2030.

Qualifications

• Active top-secret clearance verifiable in DISS.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred with 10+ years DoD experience or Bachelor’s with 12+ years DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test avionics hardware and embedded software.
• Integrate hardware/software to ensure airworthiness and proper function.
• Support weapons integration and mission computer upgrades.
• Prepare reports and participate in program reviews.
• Collaborate with DoD stakeholders across multiple bases.
