Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton seeks an RS Avionics Installer III to lead technicians in avionics installations, fabricating wiring harnesses, and performing ring-out and functional tests of electrical systems per blueprints and engineering drawings.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with aviation electronics schooling or equivalent experience, strong reading of schematics, and ability to ensure regulatory compliance and safety in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports, and assists technicians performing avionics installations.
• Fabricates wiring harnesses, installs, terminates, ring-out, and assists in functional test of avionics/electrical systems.
• Provides work direction to technicians and coordinates with other departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Installs/modifies/fabricates wiring and electrical components per blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Trains team members and contributes to employee development and techniques.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Enforces safety programs and conducts defect-free inspections prior to final assembly.
