Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton is seeking an Avionics Installer I to support installation of avionics electrical components and wiring in our Appleton facility. Under supervision you’ll read blueprints, fabricate wire harnesses, and perform tests of avionics/electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specs and safety standards.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED, with six months aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; entry level position with preference for 6 months aviation electronics or electrical experience.
• Must know how to use a multimeter and read basic blueprints/schematics.
• Regulatory familiarity and customer specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in removal/installation of avionics electrical components and wire harness fabrication.
• Perform ring-out, terminations, and functional tests on avionics/electrical systems.
• Follow blueprints and engineering drawings; maintain logs and records.
• Comply with FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety regulations.
