Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Washington State is seeking an experienced avionics hardware engineer to lead the development of high-reliability boards for New Glenn hardware. You will define architecture, design, verify, and release analog/digital boards and integrated assemblies across the product life cycle.

The role requires 15+ years in electronics hardware, hands-on board design, signal integrity and power management, plus strong communication skills and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of direct experience in electronics hardware development.
• Hands-on experience designing complex boards or integrating COTS hardware.
• Analog/digital circuit analysis, design, test and layout expertise.
• Signal conditioning and filtering for sensor control.
• Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Develop analog and digital boards interacting with avionics systems and verification.
• Design avionics hardware and integrated assemblies through lifecycle.
• Support architecture trades, performance analyses, and supplier coordination.
• Lead DFx activities, FMECA, and root-cause investigations.
• Contribute to program-level technology development and safety initiatives.
