EVONA in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced avionics engineer to lead design, development, integration and testing of spacecraft systems within an established electrical engineering team. You will design high-performance, high-reliability avionics and power systems including harnessing, batteries, sensors, navigation, safety systems, and flight computers on demanding timelines.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• 5+ years designing complex electrical and/or control systems for harsh environments.
• Experience with PCB schematic capture, layout, and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for spacecraft.
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
• Drive rapid execution and iteration to get hardware into orbit quickly.
• Negotiate requirements and propose alternative solutions.
• Conduct design reviews, test readiness, and flight readiness reviews.
