Job summary

The Structures Company, LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer, ISR to lead the full PCB design cycle for avionics systems, including requirements, schematic design, layout oversight, bring-up, and validation on air vehicle platforms.

The role involves designing electronics from concept to prototype with MIL-Spec harnessing, analog/digital/RF, and collaboration with UAS/ISR platform teams; candidates must have 10+ years of experience and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required per ITAR.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum of 10 years of electronics design and development experience.
• Experience bringing electronics from concept to functional prototype.
• Strong knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, digital and RF components.

Responsibilities

• Leads the full PCB design cycle from requirements to validation.
• Designs avionics systems and subsystems for aircraft and launcher electricals.
• Develops wire harnessing and interconnect diagrams for air vehicles.
• Supports obsolescence management and design updates.
• Participates in design reviews and applies MIL-Spec practices.
• Uses Altium for circuit design and verification; integrates MCU and high-speed interfaces.
