Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV - Special Missions to lead and perform advanced testing, troubleshooting and repairs on avionics and aircraft electrical systems. Must have installation experience, read schematics, and oversee engineering changes while ensuring safety and quality, with travel up to 25% as needed.

This role requires strong leadership to guide technicians, ensure documentation accuracy, and support certification and flight test activities as

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Six years experience in avionics/electrical field; or two years schooling + four years related experience.
A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates superior skills in avionics testing and troubleshooting; provides direct training.
Teaches installation and functional testing per specs to ensure defect-free systems.
Ensures quality/efficiency; troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning systems.
Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring per approved methods.
Oversees engineering changes and modifications to maintain safety and quality.
Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional tests to evaluate performance.
Maintains daily logs and documentation for all aircraft work.
