Job summary

Gulfstream seeks an Avionics Electrical Technician 4 in Palm Beach, FL to perform advanced testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems on aircraft. You will lead, train, and mentor a cross-functional team, ensuring components meet engineering specs and regulatory standards.

The role requires a strong diagnostic background, ability to work shifts, and proven leadership in a high-precision aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of avionics/electrical experience or two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus four years of related experience.
• A&P, FCC, or NCATT certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems.
• Ability to lead, train and mentor others in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure defect-free aircraft.
• Lead by example, providing technical guidance and direct training to support cross-functional workforce development.
• Install and test avionics/electrical components per engineering specs, drawings and manuals.
• Diagnose discrepancies and execute high-quality repairs to minimize schedule impact.
• Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
• Set up and operate test equipment; conduct performance and reliability evaluations.
• Ensure all work is documented in logs and maintenance records.
• Pre-inspect work before quality inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
