Moog in Phoenix/ Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician for onsite work. You will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor in the Space and Defense Group and assemble circuit cards, wire harnesses and avionics units onsite in Gilbert, AZ.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on electrical assembly experience, soldering expertise, and familiarity with J-STD-001, IPC 610/620. Reading engineering drawings and teamwork are essential to meet government and customer specs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with government and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Circuit Card Assemblies, top level avionics units, wire harnesses, and ground support/test equipment.
• Perform high-reliability soldering (through hole and surface mount) and crimping on complex sub-assemblies.
• Work with multi-pin connectors to meet stringent specs; operate SMT and selective solder machines.
• Interpret drawings, BOMs and work instructions; maintain ESD and certification standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineering to troubleshoot and rework avionics products.
