Job summary

A pioneering aircraft manufacturer in Long Beach is seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician with an avionics background to join as a Crew Chief. You will work on the fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting of complex avionics systems in eVTOL aircraft, ensuring operational readiness. The position requires FAA A&P certification, and experience in high-voltage electric propulsion systems is essential. Candidates should also have strong technical skills, with a high school diploma or GED being a baseline requirement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with high-voltage electric propulsion systems.
• Adaptability for a rapid-prototyping, flight-test environment.
• Military rotorcraft avionics technician background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate complex wire harnesses to IPC-620 standards.
• Lead mechanical and electrical integration of diverse payloads.
• Safely install High Voltage (HV) distribution systems.
• Perform continuity checks and document all work.
• Manage Ground Support Equipment and ensure safety.
