Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO to contribute to a state-of-the-art avionics product.

You will design and capture electrical schematics, guide PCB layouts, perform Worst Case Analysis and Parts Stress analyses, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product certification and system-level testing. Experience with missile design and aerospace hardware development is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Missile design experience.
• Experience in digital circuit design at the card/board level.
• Experience with design evaluation and requirements verification.
• Experience in aerospace hardware development cycles.
• Experience interfacing with peers, management and government customers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the PCB board layouts.
• Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and support product certification and system testing.
