Job summary

Jobot in Essex Junction, Vermont, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control leader for our FAA/EASA/UK CAA-approved Part 145 component overhaul and repair facility. You will oversee QA/QC activities, manage inspection from receiving to release, ensure compliance with international aviation standards, and lead CAPA and documentation control.

The role requires 7+ years in aviation QA/QC, leadership experience, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in quality assurance and control within aviation or regulated manufacturing
• Experience leading or supervising a quality team (2+ years)
• Regulatory familiarity with FAA, EASA, AS9100, ISO 9001
• Strong background in inspection methods and measurement tools
• Proven ability to manage documentation and records for audits
• Ability to develop and implement quality procedures and CAPA processes
• Proficiency with QMS and maintenance/repair tracking software
• Attention to detail in technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA and QC across the component overhaul and repair facility
• Manage inspection processes from receiving to final release
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA and international regulations and internal standards
• Maintain audit-ready quality records and repair station documentation
• Develop and update quality procedures, work instructions, and manuals
• Lead root cause analysis on non-conformances and customer issues
• Coordinate CAPA through closure
• Supervise and develop QC and inspection staff
• Review test results and dispositions for non-conforming material
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability, turn time, and customer satisfaction
• Train staff on quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Support facility safety and compliance programs
