Job summary

C&S Companies is seeking an experienced aviation planning leader to sell, win, and manage airport planning projects, from master plans to on-call contracts, across general aviation and commercial service airports.

You will serve as primary client contact, lead proposals, coordinate with FAA regions, mentor staff, and travel across the United States to deliver client value while advancing the West Coast Practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of related experience in aviation planning or similar.
• Certifications or pilot license preferred (AICP/LEED etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of on-call contracts or specific projects from identification to close-out.
• Develop proposals, determine scope of work, estimate fees, and negotiate contracts.
• Budget, schedule control, and staff resource management across projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and lead public/stakeholder sessions.
• Coordinate with local, state, regional and federal agencies for clients.
• Maintain knowledge of aviation industry services and trends.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the United States.
• Mentor and coach staff to grow the West Coast Practice and secure new business.
