Job summary

HNTB's National Aviation Planning + Environmental Planning Practice is seeking a Senior Aviation Planner to contribute to aviation planning consulting, master plans, and environmental permitting across landside, terminal, airside, and environmental disciplines. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 10 years relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree in related field with 9 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex planning, environmental planning, landscape architecture and urban design tasks under minimal direction.
• Lead production of plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents; coordinate contributions.
• Prepare budgets, fee proposals, and responses to RFPs; manage invoicing and billing.
• Lead public and stakeholder engagement and present to the community.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and in-house teams.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Support managers with strategic planning and staffing.
• May serve as project manager or task lead.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
