Job summary

HNTB is seeking a highly motivated aviation planning professional to join our team in Boston, MA, contributing to a large portfolio of airport projects. The role involves data-driven planning, research, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders, mentoring staff, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will develop planning strategies, prepare technical reports, and lead portions of project deliverables across landside, terminal, and airside disciplines.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills with a passion for aviation.
• Experience in landside, terminal, airside, economics, or environmental planning.
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as specified with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project team members and other disciplines.
• Develop client meetings and interactions.
• Research planning issues, policies, and concepts and formulate recommendations.
• Develop conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepare technical plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents.
• Lead presentations and public facilitation.
• Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants to complete tasks.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with proposals and RFP responses.
• Write sections of plans and reports and synthesize contributions.
• Develop planning and analysis using GIS, traffic, or safety software.
• Lead planning processes and technical solutions.
