Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Construction Manager to support the Port of Seattle Aviation CIP at SEA. This mid-level role requires 3–7 years of hands-on field experience on active transportation or vertical construction projects.

You will coordinate contractors, inspectors and airport operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution under the guidance of a Senior Construction Manager or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of construction management or field engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Aviation, or related field.
• Experience in aviation, transportation or complex vertical construction environments preferred.
• Experience working in active/occupied facilities is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience helpful.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills for on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support daily on-site construction activities and ensure work adheres to plans and safety requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, inspectors, and airport operations in a busy terminal/airfield environment.
• Verify inspections, submittals, RFIs, and change directives for compliance.
• Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
• Participate in meetings and maintain professional relationships to ensure schedule certainty.
