Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Aviation Engineer/Project Manager in Pensacola, FL to apply advanced engineering concepts and lead design and drafting efforts. The role involves coordinating with the project manager, guiding junior professionals, and ensuring quality across engineering outputs.

Requirements include a BS (MS preferred) in Engineering, a P.E. license, and 7+ years of aviation-related experience, with strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires seven (7) years of engineering experience post BS, or six (6) years post MS.
• P.E. license is required.
• Aviation experience required.
• Proven technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and review project plans and documents; evaluate alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform project design and sketching concepts for junior engineers or technicians.
• Plan and review production of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects; select cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate work with the project manager and guide junior staff on design and drafting.
• Maintain quality control and review computations and drawings.
• May occasionally manage projects.
