Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Project Engineer to work on airport infrastructure projects in the United States. You will design runways, taxiways, and airfield systems, and prepare the necessary design reports, plans, and specifications. The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration across public and private clients.

The position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of civil experience (aviation a plus), and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE designation preferred.
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience; aviation experience and FAA criteria knowledge a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, fast-paced; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Contribute to general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, and water/hydraulic evaluation.
