ATAC is seeking a Senior Aviation Analyst to support the FAA in the Seattle, WA area for a full-time role. The candidate should be located within commuting distance or be qualified for consideration based on experience, with a strong air traffic control/management background and a solid technical foundation.

You will perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of air traffic data, apply visualization and simulation tools, and develop aviation performance reports for FAA clients, while ensuring

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or 20+ years in FAA ATC, or related field.
• Engineering and planning analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsabilités

• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of air traffic data.
• Apply visualization software to understand air traffic operations.
• Use simulation software to analyze airport/airspace operations.
• Develop and deploy aviation performance reports.
• Aviation data verification and validation.
• Process airspace and procedures documentation as directed.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot data processing algorithms.
• Prepare presentations and briefings.
• Onsite support of FAA users/customers.
• Identify potential business opportunities.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
