Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent industry experience with high-volume hands-on avian care.
• Experience in semen collection, AI and cryopreservation.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Lead avian reproductive and breeding program for chickens and quail.
• Perform AI, semen collection, incubation, hatching, and biobanking.
• Maintain electronic records and ensure model transfer between sites.
• Ensure animal welfare and regulatory compliance (IACUC).
• Collaborate with teams to optimize mating workflows and care routines.
