Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Process Designer with advanced AVEVA P&ID expertise to support industrial process engineering and design projects. The role focuses on creating, updating, and maintaining Process and Instrumentation Diagrams while collaborating with Process Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.

The ideal candidate will understand process design principles, industrial facility operations, and deliver engineering outputs in a fast-paced environment, including PFDs,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Process Design within industrial, chemical, refining, petrochemical, manufacturing, energy, or related industries.
• Advanced proficiency with AVEVA P&ID software.
• Experience creating and revising P&IDs in an engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of process engineering concepts, equipment, instrumentation, piping systems, and control systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain P&IDs using AVEVA P&ID.
• Support Process Engineering teams with design documentation and deliverables.
• Create and update PFDs, line lists, equipment info, and related docs.
• Incorporate field changes into existing drawings.
• Ensure deliverables comply with standards, client requirements, and best practices.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers, Instrumentation, Piping Designers, and others.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, document control, and change management.
