Job summary

Jobot is hiring an AV Technician to join our Harrisburg-area team on-site in Enola, PA. You will design, program, and commission AV systems for commercial, federal and religious institutions, using Extron and Biamp platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of AV experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and a degree in engineering or CS. The role includes training end-users and maintaining systems, with a permanent, on-site arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as AV Technician or similar role.
• Extensive Extron and Biamp experience required.
• Proficient in programming and commissioning AV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and clear communication.
• Degree in Engineering, CS or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as Extron ECP or Biamp advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission AV systems using Extron and Biamp tech.
• Provide technical support and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet client needs.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates for reliability.
• Train end-users on operation and upkeep of AV systems.
• Stay updated on AV tech trends and best practices.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
