Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an AV Facility Technician to provide on-premises audio visual and meeting support for a multi-channel retailer. Responsibilities include room setup/breakdown, preventative maintenance, and supporting conference room AV usage.

Must have 3+ years in audiovisual support, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work after hours. Travel and lifting requirements apply as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audiovisual support or related field.
• Experience with AV troubleshooting.
• Intermediate PC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of audio/video signal flow and control.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication with staff and customers.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting spaces to meet event needs.
• Maintain pass/fail records and tickets; ensure resolution.
• Support meeting room setups; ensure end users can use equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair AV components; replace cables; power cycles.
• Build and maintain inventory of AV equipment.
• Monitor conference room health; recommend upgrades.
• Maintain facility SOPs and documentation.
• Attend scheduled team meetings.
