Job summary

IM Solutions, a Florida-based AV/IT integrator, seeks an experienced Audio Visual Senior Lead Technician & Commissioning Technician to lead installation, integration, testing and turnover of complex AV systems. You will guide field teams, interpret designs, troubleshoot, and ensure systems meet IM Solutions’ standards.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and clients, overseeing commissioning, testing, calibration and documentation for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AV installation experience and construction methodology.
• 3–5 years of AV commissioning and system testing experience.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• CTS, CTS-I or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise AV installation teams on commercial, government, corporate and educational projects.
• Serve as primary field technical lead; direct technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Engineer to understand scope and resolve site challenges.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, wiring diagrams and documentation.
• Configure/Program control systems, DSPs, audio mixers, and other devices.
• Install and maintain AV/IT systems including racks, displays, projectors, cameras, VTC, mics and speakers.
• Perform final system testing, calibration, and QA checks.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide end-user training and documentation.
