Job summary

Mason Technologies is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Installation Technician for on-site work across NYC, New Jersey, Long Island, and Westchester. You will install and commission AV systems in commercial environments, ensuring clean, reliable results and client-ready handoffs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AV installation, strong cabling and networked AV skills, and the SST card. Travel across the tri-state area and physically demanding tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on AV installation experience.
• Mounting and installing displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, microphones, and control hardware.
• Pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating AV cabling.
• Building and wiring AV racks.
• Installing and configuring networked AV devices (Dante, AV-over-IP).
• Testing, troubleshooting, and validating AV systems.
• Reading AV drawings and schematics.
• Leading crews or portions of AV projects.

Responsibilities

• Mount and install AV equipment and hardware.
• Terminate and test AV cabling and networks.
• Configure and commission AV systems for clients.
• Lead on-site crews and coordinate with PMs and trades.
