Job summary

Red Thread in Andover, Massachusetts seeks an AV Field Services Engineer responsible for ensuring audio/visual systems function correctly during projects. The role involves mentoring technicians, troubleshooting complex AV systems, and performing detailed reporting.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with DSPs and control systems such as Crestron and Biamp. Competitive compensation and benefits package offered, including a range of $40-50/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
• AVIXA CTS-I preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and process.

Responsibilities

• Mentor/train/supervise technicians and subcontractors.
• Represent Red Thread professionally and resolve client issues.
• Upload/test/debug control program files.
• Write DSP files from scratch.
• Calibrate video walls and complete commissioning checklists.
