Job summary

FORTÉ, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV installation specialist in Los Angeles/Cypress to configure, test, and troubleshoot software and networked AV solutions for client environments.

You will develop configuration requirements, support firmware upgrades, and verify field wiring. The role includes training junior staff and providing technical guidance to project teams. Strong onboarding and collaboration with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AV installation, commissioning and service.
• CTS-I or CQT certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, ready, and troubleshoot software/network-based AV solutions.
• Develop configuration requirements and documentation.
• Support patch releases and firmware upgrades.
• Plan and execute configuration tasks in lab and field.
• Verify wiring, connectivity, and terminations in lab and on site.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues promptly.
• Load, test, and document control programs, touch panels, and DSP builds.
• Provide end-user training on software/applications.

What you will be doing:

• Providesupportindeveloping,implementingandtestingpatchreleasesandsystemfirmwareupgrades.
• Planandexecuteassignedconfigurationtaskswithindeadlinesbothintheintegrationlabandthefield.
• Verifysystemsintegrationwiringconnectivityandterminationsinthelab
• Analyzeandresolveconfigurationissuesinatimelymanner.
• Providesupportinloading,testing,anddocumentingresultsofpre-builtcustomizedcontrolprograms,touchpanelfiles,andDSPbuilds.

• StrongNetworkingskills.Anyspecificcertificationsortrainingisaplus.
