Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Intelligence Systems (IS) seeks an Audiovisual Design & Integration Specialist (Senior or Lead) for a role based in Herndon, VA. You will design, configure and test advanced AV systems for government customers and lead system integration efforts.

The position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance and travel to multiple job sites; CTS certification and experience with DSP platforms and Crestron/Extron/Thinklogical are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
• Level 4: 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Occasional travel to various job sites may be required.
• Field installation and AV systems experience crucial.

Responsibilities

• Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test AV solutions for government customers.
• Lead or attend customer stakeholder meetings to collect requirements.
• Draft system diagrams, BOMs, rack elevations and cable plants.
• Support onsite installation and system configuration phases.
• Coordinate with facilities teams and vendors during install.
