Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to act as a technical leader in the Manufacturing group. This role will launch DFM and best practices and oversee electromechanical manufacturing for ruggedized compute rack assemblies and harnessing.

You will coordinate with Supply Chain and commercial teams, evaluate suppliers, manage documentation with engineering and quality, and drive root-cause analysis and improvements on the line.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering in a complex environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex system builds.
• Automotive, heavy industry, or aerospace experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electromechanical manufacturing for ruggedized compute racks and assemblies.
• Drive DFM and best practices across manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and commercial teams for component supply.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for component builds.
• Coordinate documentation with engineering, test and quality teams.
• Communicate program progress and risks to leadership.
• Lead manufacturing troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and yield improvement.
