Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Owego, NY, seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to shape requirements and interfaces for launched effects and autonomous teaming in Group 1/2 UAV programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, systems, or computer engineering or equivalent STEM field with 5 years of related professional experience, or 3+ years with related master's.
• Experience with MBSE.
• Experience developing software requirements and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software.
• Experience supporting the integration and test of hardware and software systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; this position will require a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering on LE FoS for collaborative autonomy and autonomous teaming of Group 1/2 UAVs.
• Develop system, software, and subsystem requirements for launched effects and airborne UAV operations.
• Define external and internal interfaces.
• Collaborate on software and hardware interfaces to optimize autonomous teaming between crewed and uncrewed platforms.
• Support documentation and requirements verification.
