Caterpillar Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Autonomy Engineer to advance localization and navigation software for autonomous systems. You will design and implement production-quality C++ code, run validations, and collaborate with a team to produce robust, real-world solutions.
Location features a full-time onsite role with relocation assistance and visa sponsorship. You will contribute to requirements, architecture, and verification, mentor teammates, and help push cutting-edge robotics
Formación
- Bachelor's degree or higher in robotics, electrical/computer engineering, or computer science.
- 4+ years in robotics/autonomy with production-quality software.
- Strong C++ skills in localization, navigation, or real-time systems.
- Experience with Kalman filters and inertial navigation.
Responsabilidades
- Research and design localization algorithms and software.
- Develop production-quality C++ software with validation.
- Contribute to requirements and architecture for localization.
- Support functional safety software design and validation.
- Mentor localization team members.
