Job summary

General Motors seeks a seasoned analytics expert to build and evolve evaluation platforms for autonomous driving. You will design metrics, dashboards, and pipelines to summarize simulation and on-road data, enabling data-driven decisions across AV development.

Work with autonomy, simulation, systems and safety teams to drive end-to-end analysis, apply ML methods, and maintain high standards in scalability, observability, and release gating.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in robotics or autonomous systems software, data analysis, ML evaluation, or autonomy analytics.
• 3+ years evaluating dynamic systems with time-series data, derivatives, and subsystems.
• Strong Python production experience in a team setting, including testing and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement metrics and analyses for autonomous driving software performance across the autonomy stack.
• Develop dashboard reports and pipelines for simulation and on-road data.
• Apply ML methods to quantify performance and identify patterns across scenes and domains.
• Evaluate perception, prediction, and planning models within the autonomy stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear feedback to engineering and leadership.
