Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations, based in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward improved customer care. You will diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, and A/C systems, and mentor junior technicians.

The ideal candidate has ASE certifications (A1–A8), a valid driver's license, and hands-on experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and related repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brakes & hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments skill required.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training; assist and train technicians.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years (tests and fees paid by company).
