Job summary

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward exceptional customer care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, steering, A/C and computer systems; explaining repairs to customers; pursuing ASE certifications with company support; and maintaining a valid driver's

Qualifications

  • 3 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School Program.
  • ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).
  • Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, steering and alignments, and air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
