Bridgestone Americas is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes mentoring and ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Adequately explain diagnostic findings and needed repairs to customers.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
