Qualifications

• Must have ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems
• Clearly explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years
