Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. The role includes a pay range reflecting flat-rate compensation and a commitment to fair pay across regions.

You will stay current with evolving automotive technology, train junior technicians, and pursue ASE certifications within two years as part of your development in a dynamic, customer‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brakes and hydraulics, steering & suspension and alignments skills required.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience expected.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, and A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests and fees; bonuses per test.
