Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Surprise, AZ with strong diagnostic, electrical, and drivability skills to join a professional independent shop.

This position offers $75,000-$110,000+ in annual earnings, DOE, with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekends. You’ll work on domestic and import vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment, tackling challenging repairs alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical systems and drivability concerns.
• Comfortable working on older vehicles and light diesel applications.
• Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and accurately.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Dealership or independent shop experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
• Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics
• Troubleshoot CAN network and communication issues
• Repair gas and light diesel vehicles
• Service light-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, older vehicles, and RVs
• Complete complex mechanical repairs using quality diagnostic equipment
• Collaborate with the team to deliver accurate, high-quality repairs
